Artists for Placemaking Element
Canyons Village Management Association (CVMA) seeks qualified designers, artists, and/or sculptors to provide design concepts for an iconic placemaking element to be located at the south entry to the Resort Core within the Upper Village of Canyons Village at the Park City Mountain Resort area in Park City, Utah.
The designated location for the element is a public area and proposers are encouraged to visit the site to fully appreciate the location, sight lines, site conditions, and neighboring architecture and design influences. Creative keywords for the project include dynamic, light, modern, organic, authentic, iconic, sharable, photogenic, interactive, and color/colorful. The project budget is $50,000 and will include an artist stipend, supplies, and materials. The selected designer will ultimately be responsible for biddable documents and/or production drawings (if self-executed) through to final installation supervision.
