Applications for Immunology Innovations QuickFire Challenge
Johnson & Johnson Innovation LLC, together with Janssen Research & Development LLC, has launched an Immunology Innovations QuickFire Challenge.
Grants of up to $500,000 will be awarded in support of transformative potential solutions to help or advance precision medicine approaches in immune-mediated disease. In addition, recipients will receive one year of residency at an available JLABS with the use of a bench, workstation, and access to the global JLABS ecosystem for that year – including access to resources, educational programming, networking, and amplification opportunities, as well as the potential to be considered for future opportunities such as research collaborations and mentorship from experts across the Johnson & Johnson family of companies.
Innovators with transformative potential solutions to help or advance precision medicine approaches in immune-mediated diseases are invited to apply. Potential solutions may include novel approaches toward patient stratification and precision medicine that can be harnessed in immune-mediated diseases, such as multidimensional biomarker discovery platforms and those with AI/ML based analytics, deep patient clinical and molecular phenotyping data sets, and novel biomarkers for patient segmentation; novel therapies with a clear precision medicine strategy to address a defined patient segment; enabling technologies for clinical trials.
Specific disease areas of focus for this challenge include gastroenterology, rheumatology, dermatology, fetal-maternal diseases, autoantibody-mediated diseases, and other immune-mediated diseases in which a stratified approach has the potential to be transformational for patients.
