Applications for Ataxia Research
The National Ataxia Foundation invites applications for its Young Investigator award, which will award grants of up to $50,000 to encourage young clinical and scientific investigators to pursue a career in the field of ataxia research.
To be eligible, the Principal Investigator must have attained an MD or PhD degree and have an appointment as a junior faculty member, senior post-doc, or clinical fellow. Clinicians must have finished their residency no more than five years prior to applying and PhDs must be no more than five years from the end of completion of their post-doc training.
Letters of Intent are due September 28. 2021, and selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application by October 26, 2021.
