The Arthritis National Research Foundation invites applications for the 2022-23 ANRF Research Grant program.

The foundation awards a variety of arthritis-related research grants for research scientists and researchers working on arthritis and related autoimmune diseases. Grants include but are not limited to a focus on osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile arthritis, lupus, psoriatic arthritis, gout, ankylosing spondylitis, scleroderma, fibromyalgia, and uveitis (shown in relationship to autoimmune forms of arthritis). Clinical and basic studies will be considered; clinical studies should have a translational component that helps reveal the underlying mechanisms or response to therapy. As many as twenty grants of up to $100,000 are awarded annually.

Investigators must possess either an MD and/or PhD degree or equivalent and be affiliated with a qualified, U.S.-based nonprofit institution. Preference will be given to senior post-doctoral investigators transitioning to independent investigator status and new assistant professors. Applicants need not be U.S. citizens; however, all work must be done at a qualified U.S. nonprofit research institution.

For complete program guidelines and application instructions, see the Arthritis National Research Foundation website.
