About Research Development events

Research Development events, also known as Research Forums, are an integral part of ASU’s dedication to encourage highly transdisciplinary research, foster collaboration among researchers and create opportunities for great ideas to take shape and flourish. Forums are single events across all four campuses that are hosted by research development, often with sponsorship with and support from another university entity.

Proposal Development Workshop Series - Comprehensive training that covers landscape analysis and finding opportunities, budgeting, creating a responsive proposal, persuasive writing techniques, and layout and graphics.
Opportunity Kick-offs - Introductions to specific funding opportunities that provide an overview of requirements, advice and lessons learned from experienced faculty, and a chance to network with other ASU faculty.
Collaboration - Work with us to design your research development event and expand your audience. We co-sponsor events, consult on event design, and promote your event to our networks to increase attendance.
Faculty Development - We can help you design and implement individual, small group, or larger cohort programs to increase the quality and quantity of your sponsored projects portfolio. We use trained facilitators based as ASU to advise and facilitate visioning, workshops, and project plans and provide access to external resources including training and webinars.
