Women's Health Research

In March 2024, the White House issued an Executive Order on Advancing Women's Health Research and Innovation.

NIH subsequently issued a Notice of Special Interest (NOSI) that outlines several current and future health research initiatives with a specific impact on women's health. ARPA-H has featured two programs impacting women's health (HEROES, Sprint for Women's Health) and may soon release additional opportunities. Other agencies (NSF, DOD, others) are expected to follow suit in areas tangential to women's health (food, AI, etc.).

I encourage you to review the NIH list and consider research that may fall within any of these initiatives. Additionally, be aware of other funding opportunities that may receive additional funding to support research in women's health.

Lastly, if your current research is related to women's health, please let me know; we are considering ways to highlight ASU research specifically in this broad topic.
