Attention NIH grant applicants!

Did you know? As a member of the ASU community, you have access to a comprehensive library of excellent resources that will help you develop more competitive NIH grant proposals.

Meg Bouvier (PhD, Biomedical Sciences, 1995) is a full-time consultant and editor for NIH grant proposals. Since 2013, Dr. Bouvier has used her extensive experience as a NIH bench scientist and staff writer to assist ASU faculty in crafting successful NIH proposals. Her website features a comprehensive series of video courses offering insights, guidelines, and tips for preparing grant proposals for many NIH research funding mechanisms.

ASU’s Research Development has teamed up with Dr. Bouvier to provide all-institution access to this training library. Whether you are faculty, a student, or staff, if you have an ASU email address, you have free access to this valuable guidance!

In addition to the webinars, you can sign up on the website to receive helpful email reminders regarding your NIH R01 submission using her “10 Week Deadline Push” workplan.

Meg’s team also offers a weekly members-only live Q&A call, “Ask the Grantwriting Expert,” where you can get your questions answered by Meg and guests.

Ready to get started? Click here and login with your ASU email to view the easy instructions for accessing the ASU-provided video library featured on the Bouvier Grant group’s website: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1kLShDqCVjiyCgUDQiGHc_duOetOWpKmJ/edit.

And lastly, the Bouvier Grant Group offers fee-based contracts to provide 1:1 feedback and editing services on large (P and U series) submissions as well as smaller (R and K series) submissions. You can reach out to Meg’s team directly to discuss contracted services through Meg’s website (note, contracted services are not included in the prepaid services available to the ASU community).
