Proposal Graphics Collaboration Guide

March 23, 2023

Graphics are very essential elements to a proposal and can increase success rates. Below is a guide for collaborating with our Art Director, Vince so that the process will be as seamless as possible.

1.Virtual Meet
This is a 30-45 minute session to present your draft and ideas to the art director. It is best to schedule this between four and six weeks in advance of the sponsor deadline. You will discuss concepts and the art director will address any issues that will interfere with graphic success. At the end of the meeting you will handoff drafts and content so the art director can begin.

2. Draft Review
The art director will send over drafts for you and your team to review. If there are any questions/concerns the art director will mention them. This is your time to communicate changes and provide clear feedback so that your graphic is strong and easy for the sponsor to read. Budget one week to complete a review.

3. Revisions
There may be a couple of revisions along the way to perfect your graphics. Please allow some time for iterations and be sure to clearly communicate with the art director to limit the back and forth which will give you more time to focus on your narrative. Our goal is to get it right the first time, but revisions can take up to a week to complete.

4.Final Graphic
The final graphics will be sent in PDF format for best quality. You will place these in your document by these commands: Click Insert > Picture > Create from File. Browse for the PDF you want to insert. Click Okay. Resize proportionally by grabbing corners if needed.
