The 2024 Panmure House Prize will award $75,000 (USD) for research on the long-term funding of innovation in the spirit of Adam Smith. The Prize is open to all researchers working on topics related to the practical implementation of long-term thinking in relation to innovation, finance, and social and economic change. We are keenly interested in those whose research looks at the long-term funding of innovation and in those who take interdisciplinary approaches. The Prize is open to submissions from researchers affiliated with institutions worldwide, with preference given to early/mid-career researchers (defined as 3-15 years post completion of PhD).

The recipient of the Prize will be accorded the opportunity to present their research findings at a gathering of the judging panel and other pertinent stakeholders at Panmure House in Edinburgh in 2025. This occasion will offer a platform for the winner's research to receive coverage in national and international media outlets. For any inquiries regarding the Prize format or award process, please do not hesitate to contact panmurehouse@hw.ac.uk.
