FY24 ARPA-H Sprint for Women’s Health Opportunity Kick-off

The Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Sprint for Women’s Health intends to fundamentally change the trajectory of women’s health care research and radically accelerate the next generation of discoveries. It seeks new requests for solutions (RFS) for unconventional approaches and innovative avenues to push high-impact biomedical research forward to improve women’s health outcomes.

Proposers select one of six health topics:

  1. Women’s Health at Home;
  2. Prioritizing Ovarian Health Through Mid-Life to Prevent Disease;
  3. Advancing Research through Enhanced Models for Investigating the Influence of Sex Differences on Health Outcomes;
  4. Advancing Women’s Brain Health via Lymphatic Targeting;
  5. Objective and Quantitative Measurement of Chronic Pain in Women; and
  6. Wild Card: Revolutionary Breakthroughs in Women’s Health

Two funding tracks will foster transformative research (TRL 1-4; $3M) and development efforts (TRL 5+; $10M). A teaming site has been developed to encourage team formation with varied technical expertise to submit a Solution Summary to the Sprint.

  • ASU RD Opportunity Kick-off: March 14, 11:00am 
  • Questions must be submitted to ARPA-H by March 27, 2024
  • The RFA is released and submission window opens March 13, 2024
  • Submission deadline is April 15, 2024
