FY23 Research Development All-Hands Meeting
Research Development All-Hands Meetings are to bring together those who work in research development across ASU to enable research. This includes grant writers, proposal editors, partnership managers, and others advocating for research and dedicated to capacity building to advance research at the University. Sponsored by KE Research Development.
Join us for a series devoted to all things research development (RD)!
The goal of this series of events is to connect and learn from colleagues across ASU; begin to identify and define what research development means by individual, unit, school, and college; and expand our professional networks.
Anyone who is currently in a research development role should attend. Research development “encompasses a set of strategic, catalytic, and capacity-building activities that advance research, especially in higher education.1”
The RD All-Hands will be inclusive and engaging for all attendees. Each meeting will have a different topic and will be co-hosted by an ASU representative. Occasionally, guest speakers will be invited to present. All sessions are virtual and held on Zoom.
TOPIC: How do we identify and connect when we do our work?
Our December meeting will introduce the format, design, and intent of these all-hand meetings. In addition, we will start to unpack how we use our network to accomplish our work and achieve our professional goals.
