Funding Opportunity: 2022 CIHRA Faculty Scholar Awards Program

The Center for Innovation in Healthy and Resilient Aging (CIHRA), with support from the offices of the Provost and Executive Vice President for Research is currently accepting applications for awards and fellows and affiliates.

Housed in Edson College of Nursing and Health Innovation, CIHRA’s purpose is to promote research, training, and education that help solve challenges in aging through interdisciplinary and interprofessional approaches.

Awards.  CIHRA faculty awards are available that focus on CIHRA’s mission (see website link above)These awards require proposals from teams composed of at least 2 scholars from different disciplines, and preferably from different colleges or schools.  Proposed research topics may include, but are not limited to, aging and health promotion, disease prevention, family caregiving, care coordination, age-friendly environments, healthy retirement, and palliative and end-of-life care.  Maximum award request is $45,000 in total costs.

  • Faculty Scholar Awards – Spring 2022 start.  [Application deadline is November 5, 2021.  Project start date is January 10, 2022; other start dates must be justified in the proposal.]
