It is never too early to start planning your research funding trajectory! 

There are many early career programs to choose from as an early career faculty member. The right program can help you:

• Advance YOUR research ideas

• Get yourself introduced to a program officer

• Get your research in front of others

• Set yourself up for future success (easier transition to subsequent awards)

Many funding organizations have specialized programs for early career faculty. However, funding organizations define early investigators differently. Programs can be specific, topic-driven, or wide-ranging opportunities open to many disciplines.
