It is never too early to start planning your research funding trajectory!
There are many early career programs to choose from as you start your faculty research career. If you find the right program, you can often create a clear path toward high-impact sponsored projects. Many funding organizations have specialized programs for early career faculty. However, funding organizations define early investigator differently.
Programs can be specific and topic-driven opportunities or extremely wide ranging and open to many disciplines.If you are tenure track faculty member within the first several years of your PhD and/or occupying your first faculty appointment, please attend this event.
Presenters will review the most popular programs by agency, contextualize the competition, describe an optimum timeline for submission, and provide resources that will help you to prepare a proposal.
