From Draft to Funding: How Research Editing Supports Your Grant Proposals

Grant proposals can be daunting, whether you’re a seasoned PI or just dipping your toes into the process for the first time. That’s why the team at RD Research Editing is thrilled to support ASU faculty, research staff, and postdocs in crafting strong proposals—big or small, and across any field—where they serve as PI or Co-PI.

For those new to proposal writing, the process might feel overwhelming, but here’s a tip: you don’t have to wait until you have a polished draft to get feedback. In fact, we encourage submitting preliminary drafts! This allows us to provide early, constructive guidance that can help shape your ideas and strengthen your proposal before you dive into the details.

Our team has supported countless PIs, contributing to proposals that went on to secure funding from major federal agencies like NIH, NSF, DoE, DoEd, and NASA, as well as a variety of private organizations. So, whether you’re starting from scratch or need a fresh perspective on a nearly finished draft, we’re here to help you put your best foot forward.
