CITI Program Webinar – Getting Started in Grant Writing: An Introduction for Graduate Students, Postdocs, and New Faculty
ASU faculty, staff, and students have FREE access to CITI Program’s on-demand professional development webinars. As we prepare for the new semester, we’d like to highlight Getting Started in Grant Writing: An Introduction for Graduate Students, Postdocs, and New Faculty. This 45-minute webinar can be beneficial for you, your incoming new faculty colleagues, and your students as they enter the ASU research community.
Webinar description: Across professions and academic levels, an understanding of grants and what it takes to find them and submit proposals are critical skills. This webinar will demystify the process of grant proposal writing. Following a high-level overview of the major phases of proposal development, the webinar will look more closely at the process of finding and selecting funding opportunities that are a good fit for your research or program priorities.
By the end of this webinar, you should be able to:
- Identify major phases in grant proposal development.
- Locate relevant sources of information on funding opportunities.
- Summarize information found in a Request for Proposals.
- Outline the steps to go from proposal concept to proposal submission.
How to Access CITI Program Webinars
- Go to citiprogram.org
- Select Log In.
- Select the Log In Through My Organization option.
- Find and select Arizona State University.
- Select Continue to SSO Login / Instructions.
- Complete the ASURITE Login page.
- Select the MyCourses tab.
- Select View Courses next to ASU.
- Scroll down under "Learner Tools for Arizona State University" and select Add a Course.
- Scroll down to the webinar question and select all the webinars you would like to review.
- Select Submit to complete your enrollment in the webinar(s).
- Your selected webinars will now appear on your My Courses page.
- Select Start Now to begin the webinar.
