APHL-CDC Fellowship and Internship Programs
APHL has been awarded five years of funding by the CDC to establish a paid Fellowship program in multiple disciplines (see below). The funds comes from the American Rescue Plan, specifically to address the national shortage of public health scientists that has been experienced during the pandemic. There are eight Fellowship Tracks (see below). Applications for the Summer cohort are due February 28th, 2022. We are also developing a paid internship program for the Summer of 2022
Host Laboratories
These Fellowships will be available at every state, large city or county public health lab in the nation, if that laboratory applies to be a host, and successful candidates will be matched with the Laboratory. To obain Map and list of these laboratories, click here.To view information about the Arizona State Health Department Laboratory click here.
