2025 NSF National Network for Microelectronics Education (NNME) National Network Coordination Hub

This solicitation is to select an operator for the National Network Coordination Hub to manage the National Network for Microelectronics Education (NNME). The Hub will be responsible for establishing, growing, operating, coordinating, and managing the NNME with sufficient geographical extent and operational capacity to fulfill the U.S. microelectronics workforce needs at all educational levels across STEM fields for all job types in the microelectronics workforce, including researchers, engineers, and skilled technical workers. Regional Nodes will be established after the establishment of the Hub. The Hub will work with the National Semiconductor Technology Center’s (NSTC) Workforce Center of Excellence (WCoE). Hub/NNME objectives:

  1. Select and Manage the Regional Nodes to Form the NNME
  2. Provide a Neutral and Independent Platform to Foster Collaboration and Coordination
  3. Ensure Industry Relevant Skills
  4. Engage Early Learners (K-12)
  5. Promote Flexible and Transferrable Credentials
  6. Innovate and Incorporate Experiential Learning and Technology
  7. Support Quality Jobs
  8. Provide Equitable Opportunities for Individuals
  9. Incorporate Wraparound Services
  10. Ensure Sustainability and Enduring Support

This is a Limited Submission opportunity; ASU can submit as prime or participate as a single sub-awardee.
