Research Development Opportunity Kick-off events are introductions to specific funding opportunities that provide an overview of requirements, advice and lessons learned from experienced faculty, and a chance to network with other ASU faculty.

Topic: 2023 Meg Bouvier Subscription

Meg Bouvier is a full-time advisor and editor for NIH applicants. She leverages her experience at the bench and time at NIH to increase the competitive edge of every proposal she works on.

Meg has been helping ASU faculty with their proposals since 2013. She lives and breathes NIH and conveys expert information in an approachable way. She launched her training courses in 2015. Research Development, a first adopter of that content, has paid for all-institution access to Meg Bouvier’s training library since its start. That means everyone at ASU (faculty, students, and staff) can access these NIH-focused courses, information that is jam packed with insight.

In addition to the webinars, you can sign up to receive helpful email reminders regarding your R01 submission using her “10 Week Deadline Push” program. Recently, she launched “Ask the Grantwriting Expert”; a live, 30-minute opportunity to get your questions answered by Meg and guests.

This Opportunity Kick-off will provide a broad overview of the course library and other critical offerings that will help you develop your NIH application. It is appropriate for anyone seeking to develop an NIH application (now or in the future) or anyone who helps with developing those applications.
