Proposals for Cancer Research

Sponsors:
Elsa U. Pardee Foundation
Amount:
$200,000
External Deadline:
08/31/21
Opportunity Information:

The Elsa U. Pardee Foundation is inviting applications from investigators at nonprofits in the United States working to identify new treatments or cures for cancer.

The foundation encourages proposals for one year to enable new cancer researchers to develop their capabilities or veteran cancer researchers to establish new approaches to cancer research. The foundation anticipates that this early-stage funding may lead to subsequent and expanded support from a government agency or other source. The relevance of the project to cancer detection, treatment, or cure should be clearly identified.

Post-docs who are on the tenure track and have a tenured mentor are eligible to apply. Priority will be given to researchers at U.S.-based nonprofits who are new to the field of cancer research or to established research investigators examining new approaches to a cancer cure.

For complete program guidelines, application instructions, and examples of previously funded research, see the Elsa U. Pardee Foundation website.
