Opportunity Information:

The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation welcomes applications for its Senior Research Awards program, which provides established researchers with funds needed to generate sufficient preliminary data to become competitive for funds from other sources such as the National Institutes of Health (NIH). Through the program, grants of up to $115,830 per year for up to three years will be awarded in support of proposals relevant to Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), Crohn's disease, and/or ulcerative colitis.

To be eligible, applicants must have an MD and/or PhD (or equivalent degree) and be employed by an institution (public nonprofit, private nonprofit, or government agency) that is engaged in health care and/or health-related research. Eligibility is not restricted by citizenship or geography.

Letters of Intent are due May 5. Upon review, selected applicants will be invited to submit a full application by July 20, 2021.
