Opportunity Information:

The Flinn Foundation invites applications for its Seed Grants to Promote Translational Research Program, which will award grants of up to $100,000 over eighteen months in support of ten research teams dedicated to advancing new products or services to improve patient care. At the end of the grant period, up to two of the most successful projects may receive additional funding up to $100,000 over the following year.

Research teams must be affiliated with Arizona's academic research institutions and/or healthcare systems, and proposed projects must address compelling clinical needs in the areas of precision medicine, diagnostics, devices, therapeutics, or healthcare-delivery processes, and have significant potential to turn bench results into viable products or systems that impact patients in Arizona and beyond. 

The principal investigator must be employed by an Arizona-based academic or medical-research institution or healthcare system, which will also serve as the PI's grant administrator.
