Applications for Rheumatology Clinician Scholar Educator
The Rheumatology Research Foundation Education and Training Awards program works to build the rheumatology workforce in order to satisfy the growing demand for rheumatologists and rheumatology health professionals, helping to cultivate future generations of rheumatology professionals and ensure that people with rheumatic diseases have access to the care they need.
To that end, the foundation welcomes applications for the Clinician Scholar Educator Award. A single grant of $180,000 over three years ($50,000 per year for salary and up to $10,000 supplemental funding) will be awarded to a future doctor and rheumatology health professional to enhance his/her continuing education in musculoskeletal and rheumatic diseases.
To be eligible, applicants must be an ACR or ARP member at the time of submission and for the duration of the award. ACR members must have earned a DO, MD, or MD/PhD degree and completed a Rheumatology fellowship by the start of the award period, while ARP members must have earned an advanced degree (master’s or above).
See the Rheumatology Research Foundation website for complete program guidelines and application instructions.
