ASU offers several resources to optimize National Institutes of Health (NIH) applications and opportunities.

Meg Bouvier offers many resources and information on NIH, her webinars can be found here: https://funding.asu.edu/articles/2022-access-meg-bouvier-webinars

These webinars are free for all ASU students, staff, and faculty.

We would also like to highlight an upcoming course in Grant Writing, CHS 791.

  • CHS 791 Course
  • Specifically for graduate students
  • Students will learn about the process of writing a National Institute of Health (NIH) Fellowship grant for graduate and postdoctoral funding. The final product will be their own NIH research proposal. The course will cover the organizational structure of the NIH, the peer review process, establishing a research idea, writing a proposal, grantsmanship and research ethics.
