Research Development Opportunity Kick-off events are introductions to specific funding opportunities that provide an overview of requirements, advice and lessons learned from experienced faculty, and a chance to network with other ASU faculty.

Topic: Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) Seedling Research Topics Kick-Off

The Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity (IARPA) invests in high-risk/high-payoff research programs that have the potential to provide our nation with an overwhelming intelligence advantage. COVID-19 pandemic has focused attention on technologies to assist with detection and sensing; supply chain management and integrity; geo-spatio-temporal monitoring and mapping, with privacy protections; information reliability and collaboration tools; and modeling, simulation, and predictive analytics. Proposals are structured as Phase A base with Phase B option. Phase A is up to four months and Phase B is up to 8 months. Total budget for both phases is less than $1M. Proposals are due to sponsor July 7, 2020. Join Global Security Initiative (GSI) as they walk through the solicitation and discuss proposal development support options for faculty interested in pursuit.
