FWOCC Leadership Cohort Info Session

Faculty Women of Color Caucus (FWOCC) and Research Development are excited to offer a unique Research Leadership Development program tailored to ASU faculty scholars of color. This curriculum-based 8-week group coaching program provides leadership concepts for long-term success in your research efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for researchers of color to network, build community, explore potential research barriers, and strengthen professional skillsets. We will welcome a maximum of 12 participants and we’re asking for applications through InfoReady. The curriculum-based eight-week program will run weekly during the Spring 2022 semester (February 7, 2022 – April 4, 2022). Each week will include an hour of discussion and a subsequent 30-minute small group break out.

This course will be co-led by M. S. (Peg) AtKisson, Ph.D., and Sandra Bailley, MSW. Both are trained Co-Active Coaches with experience in developing leaders in academia. Sandra is currently a coach in the Simmons University School of Business Executive Education program. Peg developed the initial research leadership program based on her training in coaching for entrepreneurs and small business owners.

Applications to be considered as a participant in this cohort are due by December 3, 2021.

Join this brief informational session to learn more about the cohort. We'll cover topics and activities that you can expect to occur. Eligibility and application requirements will be discussed.
