Apply for Flinn Foundation Awards in Translational Research

The application for Flinn Foundation's next round of its Translational Research Seed Grant Program is now open.

The deadline to apply is December 3

The Flinn Foundation will fund up to 10 research teams focused on advancing new products or services to address a compelling clinical need during the next round of the program. The awardees will each receive a $100,000 grant over 18 months. At the end of the grant period, up to two of the most successful projects may receive up to an additional $100,000 over the following year. The program supports teams that include both scientists and clinicians affiliated with Arizona-based academic research institutions and/or healthcare systems.

To view the recent program review and slides, access the application portal, and more, please visit https://flinn.org/bioscience/bioscience-grantmaking/seed-grants-program/.

Applications will require a letter from ASU's Vice President of Research (VPR). PIs will need to fill out the provided letter of support template and send to their RAs for review. RAs will need to send to Research Development (ResearchDevelopment@asu.edu) for processing by Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at latest. If you have any questions about the process, or would like your letter reviewed in advance of routing to the VPR's office, please send by Friday, November 12, 2021. Research Development will then process all letters through the VPR's office and send back in advance of the December 3 deadline.

Please see here to review Research Development's in-depth general process for securing a letter of institutional support.
