DOD CDMRP Opportunity Kick-Off
Kick-off: 2020 DoD Congressionally Directed Medical Research Program (CDMRP)
Research Development Kick-Off Events are to share with faculty and staff upcoming funding opportunities and to highlight key details to know.
Sponsored by OKED Research Development.
The DOD CDMRP has many solicitations for research across a broad swath of programs. To learn more: https://cdmrp.army.mil/. Generally, the solicitations are released over the course of the spring, with deadlines through the summer months. Each program releases opportunities individually. Thus, it is important to check the website frequently, or request to be sent email updates.
ASU supported a cohort of 10 applications in 2019 using external resources. Those resources are not available for use in 2020, but we are interested in developing a cohort that could benefit from innovative crowd sourcing approaches to developing the "military" voice in proposals. This event brings cohort participants together, along with successful awardees, to discuss how best to approach this sponsor when developing a proposal.
Jon Zurn, of the Mayo Clinic, will provide specific insights regarding proposal development, especially with an eye to developing our institutional relationship with Mayo Clinic.
