ASU's Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts new research webpage
The Herberger Institute of Design and the Arts (HIDA) "connects, fuses and merges" fields among its five schools: the school of arts, the school of arts, media and engineering, the design school, the school of film, dance and theater, the school of music, and ASU art museum.
With over 5,000 students, nearly 400 faculty members, and 125 program options available to the community, the Herberger Institute Research Office staff and the Herberger Communications team recently launched a new website to make the research and creative work of HIDA faculty more visible.
https://herbergerinstitute.asu.edu/research
The main page displays both college-level research initiatives and individual faculty projects. Each initiative or project has an individual tile on the main page, which connects to web page displaying project details, contact information, public relations, and news stories. Through this setup, faculty are empowered to publicize the details of their projects in a highly visible public space while leadership can use the data and the site when speaking with funders and partners. Most are surprised to learn that most, if not all, of HIDA’s research projects are transdisciplinary. HIDA faculty continue to develop new collaborations to solve global problems.
The research website will enable partnerships and collaborations within and across the university.
