Announcing: Tohono O’odham COVID-19 Relief Grant Program
The Tohono O’odham COVID-19 Relief Grant Program supports research projects and initiatives aimed at combatting the COVID-19 coronavirus and its sequelae in Arizona. Consideration will be given to all projects, especially those which address the needs of underrepresented and underserved populations. The projects selected for funding will be those that consider health-related, biomedical, and fundamental science related to the COVID-19 pandemic and future preparedness. The projects should be well-designed studies or projects with measurable impacts. Highest priority will be given to projects with the greatest likelihood of strengthening future public health responses in Arizona and adds to knowledge that links scientific data to action.
Awards: Individual projects are eligible for funding up to but not greater than $100,000 for total project costs. Projects must not exceed 12 months in duration. It is estimated that this program will grant six (6) awards
Application Requirements: Principal Investigators must submit their proposal through the InfoReady Competition site by April 30, 2021 by 5pm MST. The proposal include:
- Project title
- List of investigators and their ASU unit affiliation
- 250 word summary the study or project
- Project Milestones
- Anticipated Outcomes (must be measurable)
- Project Concept Form (use required template)
